Launched in 2023, 'Deer Photographer of the Year' is a photography competition created to celebrate the life of deer.

By showcasing ethical deer photography, and acknowledging the skill and fieldcraft of photographers of all ages, the competition aims to:

​

1. Increase appreciation of the life of deer.

2. Acknowledge the role deer play in an ecosystem.

3. Raise the awareness of all species of deer.

​

To help photographers participate in the competition, we have created a range of categories to enter - five for adults and one for under 18s.
